Quickie: Snow Today!
This is going to be super short, because I’m still sick.
I hope you enjoyed “Round 1” of our late February cold-weather bonanza, because Round 2 is beginning even as I write this.
Over the last 24 to 48 hours, weather forecast models have shifted toward more and more snow for Tuesday afternoon/evening, and possibly for early Thursday morning as well. Now here are the morning 12z models. First, the GFS:

Wow, guess what kind of weather Portland and the Gorge are getting later today, folks?!? Could be anywhere from 1-2″ at the low end, to 4-6″ at the upper end.
Hopefully you made your snow plans and all. The Thursday system may or may not be a direct hit; this morning’s models showed less snow than yesterday.
